    About the Role

    TrueCare Staffing is expanding, and we are looking for compassionate, reliable Care Assistants to join our growing team. As an agency care worker, you will work within our partner care homes, supported living services, and healthcare organisations.

    Important Note: We are NOT providing regulated care directly yet — you will work under the supervision and guidance of the client organisations where you are placed.

    Key Responsibilities (at the client's service)

    • Deliver person-centred care following the provider's care plans.
    • Assist with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
    • Offer emotional support and companionship.
    • Support mobility using equipment such as hoists, wheelchairs, and Sara Steady.
    • Assist with meals and safe food handling.
    • Support with medication after completing training (as directed by client MAR charts).
    • Maintain accurate and confidential notes.
    • Promote dignity, independence, and respect at all times.
    • Work safely and follow all client policies and safeguarding procedures.

    Requirements & Benefits

    Requirements

    • Experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker (preferred but not required — training provided).
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    • Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
    • Basic IT literacy (phones/tablets for logging notes).
    • Full driving licence beneficial but not essential.
    • Must pass an enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this).
